FAIR
The FAIR art residency program is aimed at professional visual artists and curators residing in the Nordic and Baltic countries. FAIR welcomes artists at an early stage in their career, who wish to further and challenge their practice in a generous environment of early to mid-career artists. FAIR connects the resident with Danish artists and other art professionals through meetings, openings, and other professional and social events, and has the purpose to provide international artists the opportunity conduct research and develop their network in the context of the Danish art scene. The FAIR residency program at FABRIKKEN in Copenhagen welcomes up to 3 artists a year for a duration of 3 months each.

FIDA
FIDA is a residency program for Finnish or Finland-based visual artists initiated in 2019 in collaboration with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark. The purpose of the residency program is to build networks between professional artists on the contemporary Finnish and Danish art scenes, and to introduce artists from Finland to a Danish art market.
The FIDA residency program welcomes one artist a year for a duration of 2 months. The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark and FABRIKKEN oversees the residentcy program including networking activities and introduces the resident in relevant contexts.

Previous Residendcy Programs
World Wide Air
World Wide Air (WWA) was a residency program in Copenhagen for established artists and curators worldwide. The program aimed to ensure cultural exchange and strengthen knowledge sharing between professional agents on the Danish and international art scenes and a Danish audience. WWA welcomed artists and curators for a duration of 3 months.
WWA included a peer-program aiming to generate lasting cross-cultural and professional networks, alongside an array of initiatives including studio visits, collaborations, meetings, workshops, public events and presentations.

SPACED3
SPACED3 ran for three years and was an exchange and production collaboration between 11 residency institutions in the north and Western Australia, led by IAS, International Art Space. The Framework for the project was context-responsive contemporary art, and the 11 artists work was shown at a group exhibition at The Gallery of Western Australia.

PATHS CROSSING
PATHS CROSSING was a residency program in Copenhagen that ran for two years. The program was to open to artist from new and pending EU countries. The goal of the program was to further the carrier of the artists and each residency ended with a solo exhibition.

Collaborative Research Residency
CPR (Collaborative Research Residency) Was a pilot program for artistic research and collaboration. The residency program in Copenhagen accommodated groups and worked towards strengthening collaboration in new contexts.
